Stefano, Why 4URSPACE? How did it start?

Throughout my 20 year career as a Project Manager, there was one problem I encountered over and over again.  Finding the best vendors, contractors, and architects to work with when building a retail space in a new location. The success of your project depends on the people you collaborate with. But sourcing and vetting vendors in various locations is an extremely lengthy process. There had to be a better way to access information.

 

How is the online networking important today?

Over the last 10 years, technology and connectivity platforms like Linkedin, Facebook and Yelp have transformed the way other industries do business and yet, our industry remained almost untouched. I realized that if we could become more connected, we could complete our projects more efficiently. So, I became determined to build a platform, specifically for our industry, that would offer vendors and Project Managers instant access to information that would dramatically change the way we do business. 

 

How is 4URSPACE going in the USA and Why have you decided to expand into the European market?

I’m very proud to say that only a few years after launching in the U.S., the 4URSPACE community is thriving and continues to grow. With so many retailers operating internationally and Europe being one of the most important retail markets, it’s a very logical next step for us to expand in Europe and we couldn’t ask for a better partner than Spazio Progetto.

 

How the collaboration with Spazio Progetto started? 

The collaboration with Spazio Progetto started because I know the team for many years and they have been connecting professionals in our industry within the European market for a long time. They are a trusted and respected partner to many. I am honored to have them as a collaborator and I know this partnership is one that our users will greatly benefit from.

 

What are the first shared initiatives?

4URSPACE and Spazio Progetto have already been working for months to realize the first shared event. It will be the “4urspaceday”, which will be held on October 26 at the SpazioCampari in Milan. The event is titled “Thinking, designing, building and managing a property in the retail world” and will see the participation of numerous and qualified professionals in the sector who will present different case histories. It will be a moment of sharing and comparison on the state of the art in the world of retail.
