Foot Locker Brings ‘Power Store’ Concept to Detroit

Foot Locker brought an interactive store concept to metro Detroit that doubled as a neighborhood hub for artists, musicians and sneakerheads.

The 8,668-square-foot store at 17755 E. Eight Mile Road in Eastpointe across from Eastland Center is the first “Power Store” concept to hit North America, according to a news release.

The new concept is part of companywide strategy to get out of malls, create an interactive shopping experience and appeal to the millennial market.
