New York-based luggage brand Away has announced plans to expand its brick-and-mortar presence with the launch of 50 stores over the next three years. Adweek.com reports that the company has experimented with both permanent and temporary retail spaces, including a New York pop-up last year that retailed localized merchandise. Away will approach its retail expansion as an expansion of the brand experience as opposed to simply expanding a selling channel.
