French skincare brand Caudalie has launched a new boutique and spa in the Meatpacking District of New York. The company once again collaborated with locally based design firm Mapos to craft its latest design-driven outpost. The hybrid space combines retail and spa spaces along with a café and wine bar concept to further emphasize the brand’s investment and faith in brick and mortar.
A small seating lounge welcomes guests beyond the glass facade. A browsing table anchors the interior beneath a grapevine chandelier. Metal and marble elements abound, while the wine bar space is wrapped in white oak trellis slats and illuminated by LED lighting. The small bar area also includes a banquette and large mirror to enhance the limited square footage.
