Gucci has opened the doors to its first store in New York City‘s SoHo neighborhood.
The new Wooster Street location is a bohemian blend of Italian artistry mixed with the industrial roots of the building. The space occupies 10,000 square feet in which its original framework is reworked with hand-painted floor designs and bold interior staging. Vintage furniture and fixtures add a throwback feel to the former site of a pencil factory. The store will include a theater of sorts with a 3D video display for viewers to step into the realm of Gucci.
Michilli Inc, Atmosphere Design Group LLC, and MODAR SPA are the companies who have worked with Gucci on the project.
