Tell us about your company. What kind of product or service do you provide?
We are a general construction company with an emphasis on high end/luxury retail construction. However, we are branching out into more into the food and beverage industry as well as offices and other commercial build-outs.
How many employees does your company currently have? Where is your office located?
We have approximately 25-30 employees at any given time and have 1 corporate office in Long Beach, California. With that said, we work in Texas, Nevada, Utah, California and are working on our licensing in Arizona.
What inspired the business and where is your company today?
Our business started with Mr. Alain Hirsch working in construction and creating a relationship with Macy’s. After years of doing work for not only them but several other companies including Conroy’s Flowers we branched out into other luxury lines such as several boutiques for LVMH, Richmond, and Inditex.
In which geographic area did you complete the majority of your projects?
We mainly work in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills areas but have an extensive list of completed work in San Francisco and Las Vegas as well.
Is your company specialized in completing projects in a specific industry, e.g. Food & Beverage?
Yes, high end/luxury retail shops.
Tell us about one specific project you worked on and which challenges you solved?
Oh boy, probably the most interesting to me was the Zara projects I worked on. They were anywhere between 12,000 – 35,000sf a store and because of its challenges arose nearly on a daily basis. The most strategic challenges were the schedule and staggering work so everything flowed like a well-oiled machine. To see framers on lifts in the kid’s department, tilers on the floor in the women’s department and carpenters assembling furniture in the men’s department was awe-inspiring. We built over 10 shops for them and seeing the sequencing of men working to meet the end date never got old.
Which milestones are you planning to achieve in the next 12 months?
Within the year we plan to bring in more new clients in both the retail and restaurant industries. We are a company that has upward momentum to grow rapidly and are prepared to make investments in our personnel to do just that.
What do you like most about 4URSPACE?
We shall see, so far I like that projects are interlinked between contractor, client, and architect. It’s a great way to see the full circle. Hopefully we can find some great new vendors soon as well.
