Inside Maison Margiela’s new store on Melrose Place – Project by Valerio Architects

Fifteen years after opening its first boutique in Beverly Hills, the house headed by CEO Gianfranco Gianangeli and whose collections are designed by John Galliano has just opened at 8451 Melrose Place in West Hollywood.

Breaking entirely with its former clinical and couture spirit, the new concept first makes room for nature with a planted facade to welcome customers and a plant garden in the center of the store, lining up beautiful and large olive trees and cacti.

Valerio Architects Inc. is a ±50 persons architecture firm with offices in Los Angeles, California, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Valerio delivers projects nationally in all 50 US states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, and internationally in major cities around the world.
