Anaheim, Calif.-based apparel retailer PacSun has announced plans to kick off an international expansion through a partnership with U.K.-based department store Selfridges. The company will introduce two PacSun pop-ups at the Selfridges Oxford Street flagship in London later this month. WWD reports that a men’s and women’s shop-in-shop will be aimed at the reinvigoration of the department store’s reputation with younger shoppers.

H&M Home has opened the doors of its new London concept store at 208 Regent Street.
Spanning 700 square metres, the store offers the latest H&M Home collections and a curated selection of pieces from other brands, as well as an event space and in-store cafe. The store also includes a monogramming service so customers can personalise their items, a home delivery service and worldwide delivery on purchases made in store. H&M has collaborated with world-renowned auction house Christie’s for the opening, who is showcasing pieces from upcoming auctions in combination with H&M Home designs.

The first NoMad hotel outside the US will open in the former Bow Street Magistrates’ Court in London’s Covent Garden, it has been confirmed. Sydell Group and investment firm BTC UK will transform the 19th century, Grade II-listed building into a 91-bedroom hotel with much of the original architectural features preserved and woven into the design.
Due to open in the summer of 2020, it will feature the first ‘NoMad lounge’ and, as with other NoMad hotels, will offer expansive food and beverage options under the direction of Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara. The restaurant will be the second London site for Humm.

The New York City based cult athleisure and sneakers specialist retailer KITH, with both an online and offline presence has announced it is opening its first international store in London with the Selfridges luxury department store.
The new space -KITH’s eighth in total – will be housed in a custom-build designed with Snarkitecture, offering the New York-based label’s signature aesthetic and shopping experience. It will also feature a number of classic KITH design features, including 100 Jordan 8 casts, illuminated marble herringbone and glass fin fixtures.

it’s not shopassistants that will meet customers upon entrance, but two hyper-real mannequins moonlighting as models Eliza Douglas and Takato Harashima.
