Our goal at 4URSPACE is to create the largest retail project database in the world, thus making it easy for retail brands to quickly find vendors who are in the best position to help them with their projects. Our project listings feature a variety of professionals including general contractors, architects, photographers, and real estate agents. The database can be searched based on criteria such as geographic location, industry, or even the name of specific brands or shopping centers.
When retailers want to open a new location or remodel an existing location, it makes sense for them to work with vendors who have experience in their industry or geographic area. Doing so can save the retailer significant amounts of time and money, especially when it comes to things like obtaining building permits and working with local authorities.
However, due to the nature of the retail industry, it isn’t always easy to find vendors who have worked on a specific project. Sometimes, contractors and architects will travel all over the world completing projects, so simply using an internet search engine and typing in keywords like “contractors in city xyz” is not a good way to find them. The process of obtaining references can also be difficult and time consuming.
We solve that problem by allowing retailers to search our extensive retail project database for vendors who have worked on projects in a specific city and state. Other criteria that can be used to search for vendors include:
In the list of vendors generated by a search, retailers can see pictures of completed projects, recent activity for each vendor, and all contact information for each vendor. Currently, 4urspace is the only online directory that allows retailers to search for and find vendors so quickly and easily.
In addition to helping connect retailers with vendors when they are starting a new project, we can also help them keep tabs on what competitors might be moving into their area. Retailers and vendors can set up alerts, and be notified via email any time a new project is registered in an area, shopping center, mall or location. That way, they’ll always know about new stores opening nearby that might be either possible competitors or partners.
After a retail vendor such as a contractor, photographer, real estate agent, or architect completes a successful project, naturally they want to showcase it to prospective retail clients as an example of their work. However, this can be easier said than done. Sure, a vendor can feature projects on their website—but unless a retailer happens to do a search that causes the vendor’s website to appear among the top results, the prospective client might not ever get to the vendor’s site. Often, when it comes to finding new clients, vendors simply must hope that clients they’ve worked with in the past remember to refer them.
We also connect vendors with other vendors, making it easier for contractors to find subcontractors, lighting professionals, retail designers, and even photographers to take photos of the final product. Getting a retail project done has never been easier
Now, thanks to the 4URSPACE retail project database, vendors can let us worry about bringing prospective retail clients to them. After creating a profile on the site, vendors can list all projects they have completed and tag each project with information useful to retailers who might be interested in their services, such as:
As new projects are completed, vendors can add them to the site as well. This way retailers can see which vendors are the most active in a given area—one possible indication of whose services are most in demand. In essence, the more projects a vendor posts to our retail project database, the more projects they will get.
