Tell us about your company. What kind of product or service do you provide?
GPA Partners Corp is an industry leader providing professional support for Design, Construction and Maintenance of Retail stores, Offices and Hotels worldwide. The core Business of GPA is to support clients during the phases of Concept, Design, Engineering, Construction and Maintenance of Shops, Offices and Hotels. We provide “Integrated and High quality Design”, including Architectural, Structural and MEP.
For many clients we also directly manage Permits and Authorizations, Construction Management, Project Management and Facility Management.
How many employees does your company currently have? Do you have offices in different States?
We currently have more than 50 employees (Engineers and Architects) and collaborate with more than 100 consultants. We have four headquarters: two in Italy (Firenze & Milano) and two internationally (London & New York).
What inspired the business and where is your company today?
We can say “Design and Engineering Made in Italy”. 30 years ago the Founding Partners were inspired by the idea to create a sort of “Bottega dell’Ingegneria” (Engineering Artisan Shop). Our approach to every project is driven by the same passion and detail oriented approach typical of the best artisans in Italy
In which geographic area did you complete the majority of your projects?
We completed the majority or our projects in Europe and USA. The most recent projects were completed in Canada and USA, managed by our New York based team. We are a key player for many retailers expanding into the USA & Canada market.
Is your company specialized in completing projects in a specific industry, e.g. Food & Beverage?
Our capabilities go from managing multiple and complicated projects for major Luxury Fashion Brands to the remodeling of Hotels and Restaurants. Our team of Architects, Engineers and Project Managers has experience in multiple industries.
Tell us about one specific project you worked on and which challenges you solved?
One of the recent projects we executed is the new Ermanno Scervino store at Bal Harbour Shops Miami. We were the Owner’s Rep and managed the bidding process, obtained building permits and were able to ensure that the Italian specialized installers (millwork, stone, façade), partnering with local Union installers, complied with all Landlord’s and local requirements
Which milestones are you planning to achieve in the next 12 months?
We don’t want to set any limit. In the last 30 years our business has significantly grown every year. We are now focusing on the development of the most recent offices in New York and Milano.
In particular, due to our international experience and unique approach, we would like to help Italian clients to develop their brands into the American market and help American clients to expand in Europe.
