Tell us about your company. What kind of product or service do you provide?
Sargenti Architects has been providing architectural and engineering services for Retail Clients throughout the U.S. and Internationally for over 20 years and is licensed in 49 states and Puerto Rico. Through quality service and an understanding of the needs of our customers, we have grown into a recognized organization in the retail community. With a staff of over 100 we are committed to providing personal attention and experience to all of our customers while keeping the client’s overall goals of cost and timing at the forefront.
Recently ranked into the top 10 Retail Architects in the country by VMSD & in the 100 top design firms by Interior Design Magazine. Sargenti Architects has continued to expand and diversify our services, since opening in 1997. As well as our international presence with projects in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. Opening boutique office divisions in Philadelphia and Los Angeles, we are positioned properly to accommodate the needs of our clients.
How many employees does your company currently have? Do you have offices in different States?
We currently have over 120 architects in four states. We have our headquarters in Paramus, NJ and have offices in LA, Philadelphia and Dallas.
What inspired the business and where is your company today?
The business was started a little over 20 years ago by Rob Sargenti and his two brothers. There was an architectural, construction and maintenance division. Today the construction management lies within Sargenti and the maintenance division operates under RSM maintenance.
In which geographic area did you complete the majority of your projects?
Nationally and some international.
Is your company specialized in completing projects in a specific industry?
We specialize in retail, but also do hospitality and restaurant as well.
Which milestones are you planning to achieve in the next 12 months?
Currently, we have added space to our Paramus office to allow more room for growth. In January we opened an office in Dallas, Texas and have plans to continue our expansion.
What is the one piece of business advice that you never got?
Early on in my career was to have patience in getting new business.
