The first AmazonBooks store opened today in NYC at the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle.

I have been following Amazon’s brick & mortar expansion since day one. One of the reasons why I founded 4URSPACE is to support and share anything related to the brick and mortar industry and each company involved with it. The first physical location opened in NYC by the e-commerce giant is definitely something worth paying a visit to.

AmazonBooks…welcome to NewYork

The store carries 3,000 book titles and also tech products like the Echo and Kindle, for shoppers to try out and buy. Books face outwards and signs underneath each book display the number of stars it’s received on Amazon.com.

Next bookstore will be at the Century City mall, in Los Angeles.
