Target’s Renaissance: New Blood, Not New Brands or Stores, Will Bring The Company New Life

Target is pulling out all the stops to bring back its “Tar-Jay” magic. It plans to invest $7 billion over the next three years to remodel 300 outdated stores, which Joe Perdew, who heads up the design team, says will focus on creating more engaging guest experiences on the shop floor. The first prototype just opened at Minneapolis’ Nicollet Mall next door to the company headquarters. Its second store is set to open this fall in the Houston suburb of Richmond. READ MORE
