New York-based fashion subscription service Rent The Runway has announced the opening of its newest flagship near Union Square in San Francisco. The company’s first multistory retail space, the new location totals 8,300 sq. ft. and two floors of a Beaux Arts-style midblock building. The fifth property in the company’s brick-and-mortar lineup, the new store is designed by Alda Ly Architecture to capture Rent The Runway’s distinctive graphic identity with an architectural style that comprises framed thresholds.
