Located in the heart of the district at 155 NE 41st Street, the new boutique feeds off the area’s mix of design and culture. The store aims to be an art piece in its own right — a pure, cool, cube outside and a warm light-filled oasis inside. The two-floor, 7,600-square foot boutique showcases the house’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, eyewear, fine jewelry, and watches.

Located at 146 NE 41st St, the store reflects the house’s new design concept, as envisioned by Sarah Burton, creative director, and architect Smiljan Radic. Expect to find the outside world inside. Woods like oak and walnut in dark and light shades bring warmth to the space’s walls and floors, while glass cylinders reflect light, bringing weightlessness to the space. Keep an eye out for the cotton-crete around the store, a new invention designed specifically for the space that births papier mâché made from cotton.
The store’s design is a perfect blend of nature and architecture with elements of contemporary and traditional seamlessly fused together as you would expect from the house of McQueen.

Tell us about your company. What kind of product or service do you provide?
Sullivan Construction Company is a Licensed General Contractor specializing in commercial retail construction. We have a large customer base in luxury retail, commercial office, medical and food & beverage.
How many employees does your company currently have? Where is your office located?

What inspired the business and where is your company today?
Michael and Amanda Sullivan, principal owners of the company, began operations 15 years ago. Both have a background in the construction as they grew up in the industry. Early on in their business, they started to specialize in retail build-outs. Given their success and consistently delivering excellence, they have carved out a niche business in the luxury retail sector with loyal clients who continually seek Sullivan Construction out for their construction needs.
In which geographic area did you complete the majority of your projects?
Sullivan Construction is licensed in the following states: Alabama; Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Is your company specialized in completing projects in a specific industry, e.g. Food & Beverage?
Given the unique skill set of our team, Sullivan Construction has completed projects in all retail sectors including luxury retail, medical, office, and the food & beverage sectors.
Tell us about one specific project you worked on and which challenges you solved?
Given the growth of our company, as we started to service clients outside Florida, deployment of our team into remote areas became a challenge. Rather than seeing this as a hindrance, we forged with determination to make alliances with outstanding subcontractors outside of our area. Today those relationships help to serve our clients in areas outside of Florida and along the entire southern corridor. One success with this in mind is our recently completed Louis Vuitton project located at The Shops at La Cantera, San Antonio, Tx.
Which milestones are you planning to achieve in the next 12 months?
As we are all being challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic, and our national recovery, we have multiple goals to meet client and in-house challenges, here are two of many being looked at and developed:
– Keeping our staff and consulting partners trained and cognizant of safety in the office and on our construction sites.
– Adding new services for our current and prospective customers that help them through the challenges they are facing during the restart of their businesses, while also creating refreshed customer environments to help bring back their businesses. . Value engineering/optimization for new and remodel projects. . Full-service maintenance, store refresh programs
