What inspired the business and where is your company today?
Lippolis Electric, Inc. (LEI)is
located in Pelham, New York was founded in 1984 by Carmine Lippolis and his
brother-in-law and friend for 15 years, Charles Small. They decided to combine
their talents and expertise in the electrical and the contracting fields and
start a business. From its humble start,
LEI has grown over the past 35 years to become a multi-faceted electrical
contracting business and one of the most respected electrical contractors in
the tri-state area.
LEI provides a wide range of electrical
construction services for all types of projects from small to large complex and
large-scale electrical systems. Our
superior workmanship, innovation and unwavering dedication have helped us to

Our projects have been in diversified industries from small to large scale projects for all industries.
Tell us about one specific project you worked on and which challenges you solved?
Hampton Inn in Yonkers, NY was our first design-build project. We had the ability to provide input into the design and implementation of the project. Working as a team, we were allowed the opportunity to work through the design phase to help our client work on the project from its inception ensuring a successfully completed project. We were able to work with other contractors, engineers and specialty trade contractors to prose best-value solutions for various construction on elements before the design was completed.
Which milestones are you planning to achieve in the next 12 months?
The company plans are to enter the retail fit out space in the very near new future. In addition, we would like to expand the geographical footprint throughout the Northeast.
