Tell us about your company. What kind of product or service do you provide?
MC Construction Management, Inc. is a nationally recognized commercial general contractor specializing in Retail, Medical, Restaurant, Office, Automotive, Financial, Entertainment, Ground-Up and Tenant Improvement construction. Since 2001, MC Construction has constructed over 700 projects worth over $200 million dollars and over 6 million square feet.
How many employees does your company currently have? Do you have offices in different States?
MC Construction has a total of 34 employees. 14 work in our corporate office in Cave Creek, AZ and 20 are our seasoned Superintendents who travel and keep our clients extremely happy.
What inspired the business and where is your company today?
After spending many years in the construction industry, I opened MC Construction in 2001. The company has thrived over the years and has added many terrific clients annually.
In which geographic area did you complete the majority of your projects?
While we work in the western half of the United States, California, Texas, Las Vegas, and the Northwest, have been very strong for us.
Is your company specialized in completing projects in a specific industry, e.g. Food & Beverage?
MC Construction is well known for our work in retail build-out. We are especially favored for mall and center Grand Openings. We are a preferred contractor for most mall developers and clients enjoy our “on time” performance.
Tell us about one specific project you worked on and which challenges you solved?
One of our large projects had 45 drawing revisions without any schedule change. We successfully coordinated all of the changes with the many vendors involved with this project. We worked diligently to preserve continuity with the drawings, vendors, electrical, plumbing, and requirements.
Which milestones are you planning to achieve in the next 12 months?
We have been building larger projects lately and hope to continue to add similar projects to our wheelhouse.
What is the one piece of business advice that you never got?
To continue to improve and the numerous amount of work hours that it takes to startup and establish a new business-well worth it!
