Luxury brand Gucci is bringing a splash of 70’s-era glam to the shuttered South Central Bank in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, transforming the vacant space into a disco-inspired GG Psychedelic Pin pop-up experience.
Located at 160 N. Morgan St., the Chicago pop-up is the third iteration in Gucci’s “Pin” pop-up series, which the brand first launched at Denver’s Cherry Creek Shopping Center last November. The conceptual Pin pop-ups are inspired by interactive pins found on digital maps (each Gucci Pin pop-up location includes a customized Gucci pin that appears on Google Maps).
The 2,600-square-foot luxury pop-up store will run through March 2, 2020 and includes jewelry, accessories, shoes, and ready-to-wear from the brand’s Psychedelic collection, featuring the classic GG design newly remixed by Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele.

Gucci is set to open a restaurant on the top floor of its flagship store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California.
The restaurant, Gucci Osteria, is the latest high fashion branded restaurant to open in the past few years, though it’s not Gucci’s first foray into the culinary sphere. The original Gucci Osteria is located on the famous Piazza della Signoria in the historic 14th-century Palazzo della Mercanzia in Florence, Italy

Gucci on El Paseo in Palm Desert gets a new look for 2019. The highly anticipated new store in The Gardens on El Paseo opened its doors on Aug. 23. The interior design of the boutique is posh and opulent, yet perfectly balanced and casual. The contrasting charm of the avant-garde blended with classic style is a Gucci specialty.
Relocated and upgraded from its former location on the north end of El Paseo, the impressive new location is over 4,000 square feet and brimming with a stunning assortment of men’s and women’s merchandise. The luxury store’s modern makeover is polished and seductive—you won’t be able to resist documenting a visit on your social (as if seeing all our favorite influencers decked out in Gucci isn’t reason enough to visit).

Gucci reopens its boutique in Galleria Cavour. The new store that opened on Wednesday, November 28th in the quadrivium of the Gallery, occupying the location that was the historic Caffè Viscardi, has a surface of about 300 square meters, double the previous store. The dominant color chosen is rust, both for the furniture and for the wood floor. A reference to the colors of Bologna, for a store that wants to be as welcoming as a living room, with the warmth of the typical hospitality of the people in Bologna.
This week I visited the new Gucci Wooster Bookstore.
Gucci Wooster, the experiential retail space the fashion brand opened in Soho in May, gets an exciting new addition in the form of the Gucci Wooster Bookstore.
Designed as a hub for creativity and innovation in the heart of the original arts community of New York City, Gucci Wooster has become a destination for those seeking the creative and innovative spirit of the district. And the latest iteration of this creative hub is the addition of a good old-fashion bookstore.
Featuring a carefully-curated selection of approximately 2,000 titles focusing on avant-garde art, fashion, design, culture, photography, and an eclectic range of niche magazines, The Gucci Wooster Bookstore is a collaboration with legendary Dashwood Books and its founder David Strettell.
The intimate reading nook is meant to host shoppers looking to for a cozy place to sit and browse, as well as book signings and cultural events for neighbors and friends.
The bookstore will also feature titles that inspire Gucci designer Alessandro Michele’s work. Michele incorporates literary references into the brand’s fashions and plans to add new books to the nook when they end up informing a look.
